Raven’s Pass Filly the New Queen at Orby

A Raven’s Pass filly, consigned by Pat O’Kelly’s Kilcarn Stud, fetched a bid of an even €2 million from Moyglare Stud Farm to take over at the head of affairs as the second day of the Goffs Orby sale continued in Ireland. Catalogued as hip 432, the filly’s page is peppered with black-type performers. The new topper is a daughter of Group 2-placed Spirit of Tara (Ire) (Sadler’s Wells), the dam of five stakes performers, including MGSW & G1SP Echo of Light (GB) (Dubai Milllennium {GB}) and MSW & GSP Akarem (GB) (Kingmambo). Spirit of Tara is in turn a daughter of champion Flame of Tara (Ire) (Artaius), the dam of Derby, Oaks and 1000 Guineas winner Salsabil.
